Thanks for the article. I feel like Utah is a possibility. They have pushed and made aggressive moves since the ownership change and Larkin might like like playing with a team USA teammate in Keller. Would they send Desnoyers + picks? I could see it.
Utah could certainly afford it! If not Desnoyers+picks, a combination of two of him, Iginla, Smith, Beaudoin plus a sweetener might suffice. But with many other western destinations, I am not sure Larkin would waive for them. Furthermore, Larkin feels just a bit outside of their contention window. They have a lot of young and exciting players, I do not think it would be the right move for their organization to get this older this soon.
